From 1980 to 2013 Bob Yandian has been pastor of Grace Church, with a vibrant and strong congregation in his hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma. For 33 years he hosted a weekly teaching radio broadcast called Precepts with Bob Yandian. Bob is widely acknowledged as one of the most knowledgeable Bible teachers of this generation. The introduction traces the composition and revision of the stories, setting them in the context of Lawrence's life and work. The textual apparatus gives variant readings, and explanatory notes identify sources, references and quotations. The 1915 version of "England, My England" is given in an appendix.
